Modern long distance munication technology was invented in mid of 18th century thanks to the invention of radio technology. Since then, this technology was well developed and many new methods came out. From Morse code to satellite, modern munication is playing more and more important role. As a key part of radio technology – mixing, . transistor mixer, diode mixer and FET mixer, etc. are broadly used in different system, to shift frequency. The figure hereafter illustrated the basic ponents of a munication system. There are kinds of munication technology。 normally they are applied by the front end of receiver. They are used by superheterodyne receiver, frequency synthesizer, microwave repeater and instruments. Therefore, this kind of design practice can greatly help to understand RF knowledge well.
