The PLC elevator overview introduces PLC and elevator structure, working principle and characteristics, let oneself have a general understanding of the elevator, the related knowledge of PLC to consolidate and deepen. In the hardware design part, because the research focus on the elevator system, it mainly introduces the position detecting element. In the part of software design, this paper introduces in detail the elevator in the actual operation, including: floor display, flat layer of judgment, internal and external calls latch, uplink and downlink selection, operation direction display, speed control, open and close the door, manual control and safety control. In order to meet the people in the use process more convenient, this design with two elevators in parallel control, the two parallel for logic control, Shared outside the hall call button, and the
