Usually, if employees within a facility take enough pride in their work to keep the facility clean, the employees also focus on unsafe actions. Here are some guidelines: Work areas need must be free from trash and debris Walking surfaces must be free from tripping, slipping and stumbling hazards Work and equipment storage areas must be free from disorder Aisles must be marked and kept clear Stairwells must be welllighted and should be clean, free of any extraneous items and never used for storage of any kind Use signs to warn of hazards Housekeeping is part of your job since it is a key component of safe workplace. Each employee has the responsibility to leave their jobsite in a clean, orderly and safe conditionContractors,Hazard Communication,A material safety data sheet (MSDS) containing the proper hazard communications data will be kept for each substance manufactured or purchased by GRACE. The information normally provided includes: Any potential health hazard associated with the use or misuse of the substance. Any precautions necessary for use, handling and storage of chemicals.
