The inspirations to the women Lin Daiyu and Elizabeth are the classic figures of the literary history. With the going of time, they are more charming. Even though they are the historical figures of hundred years, they can still give us a lot of inspirations. At first, as the new female in 21century, every woman should have the independent character. Only the character is independent is the spirit independent. The female can not and should not depend on the male. The female is the creator of the society, too. They are the independent individuals. So women should keep their independence, and do not depend on men, and should be selfesteem, selfimprovement.Second, the female should have the independence of the property. As the saying goes, the economic base determines the superstructure. If they can not be independent about the property, the female is hard to get the recognition of the society. Lin Daiyu has the strong character, but she does not have her own fortune, so she can just be controlled by others, and she can not decide her own life and finally died in the desolation. Elizabeth is very clever and beautiful, but because of the same reason, she can not be independent about her property pletely. She can just be humiliated by the Collins and Lady Catherine. Of course, their property is not independent, which is not their fault. It is just the product of that age. The female today is lucky, because they can fight for their independent property, they live happily.The third, the female in the new age should fight for their own love actively, every boy is full of affection, and every maid has affection, too. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 2008:121) Love is not the patent of men. It is the right to female, too. When you find your true lover who can make you happy , then do not let him go .The only thing to do is just to pay close attention to him, telling him you have fallen in love with him .The last one is that marriage must be established on the true love. Do not establish the marriage based on the money and good –looking simply .Marriage can not be formed without true love .In The Story of the Stone, Baoyu gets married Baochai, but they are not happy, because there is no real love between them. In Pride and Prejudice, Collins and Charlotte’s marriage is boring and without happiness, because they both are just want to find a “home”, but they do not care who is the panion. They just need a socalled home .In the marriage life, the male and female should be equal and respect each other .Only by this, can marriage be long as life. Elizabeth and Darcy, they treat each other equally and respect mutually, so they have a happy marriage life at last.There are many articles about Lin Daiyu and Elizabeth. They always say Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu are tragedy, Elizabeth and Darcy are edy. But I think Lin Daiyu and Elizabeth are the outstanding representatives of feminist. What they do is worth us to study, and to love. I feel Lin Daiyu is as successful as Elizabeth. All the readers remember the love between her and Jia Baoyu, so Lin Daiyu is till a winner in love.7． Conclusions In the end, we can get some information about the two heroines. They live in a society that the female can not control their own lives, but they dare to resist the prevailing society to chase the real love and freedom that they want most. Even though they are brave and dare to pursuit their true love, they still have some differences. Lin Daiyu does not get the happy marriage, but Elizabeth gets the happy ending .Why?First, they have the different background of living. Lin Daiyu’ parents died very early, so she is lonely and pessimistic, but Elizabeth has a big family, she never feels lonely, she is outgoing and optimistic.Second, Lin Daiyu gets nothing belongs to her, but Elizabeth has her own wealth, it is not very much, but she has the independence of property.The third is the social factor. Lin Daiyu lives in the feudal society in which people’s thinking is old and the feudal force is strong. Lin Daiyu can not change anything even though she loses her life.
