Some others like Tell Me Why sung by Declan Galbraith also belong to this type of songs. Especially songs sung by Eminem are trend to repine against the reality. Like abundance of songs attributing to holidays in china, there are a numerous English songs which can help English learners know holidays and costume in western countries. Those songs not only bring the information about what they do during that session, but also introduce the habits of occidental. For example, the song “same old Christmas” that singing by Hilary Duff:Rows of angels in the snow,Hug and kisses by the mistletoe,Sugarplum fairies everywhere,Stars that shine on Christmas trees,Smoke that curls from chimneys,Red nose reindeer talking flight and choir singing,O Holy Night.Lyrics “mistletoe” monly used for hanging Christmas decoration which express good wishes, and “Sugarplum fairies” is the famous song that is often played in Christmas. “angels”, “chimneys”, and “red nose reindeer” in this song enable English learners to feel the pleasure of Christmas day. And “choir”, Holy Night” allow them to feel a quiet, peaceful, harmonious, strong religious atmosphere. Songs like “Easter Egg Morning”, “Easter Bunny Is Coming to Town” displays the day people celebrate Easter and the true meaning of Easter is to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Therefore, singing English song will open the eyes of English learners and learn the foreign culture as well as the background of the western society.6. ResultsAfter I conduct the interviews and surf the internet, I have got many facts and figures to prove the important role English songs play in English learning, especially in speaking, culture learning and writing. It arouses students’ interest and brings motivation to students. To learn English by Singing English songs makes study fun and efficient. Many students have found the maneuverability of listening to and singing English songs. It is not only for entertainment but also for happy study in a relaxed way.7. ConclusionsFrom mentioned above, we know that English songs are well written, well sung, well prevailed in current. With the splendid melody and beautiful harmonious phonology together with light clearcut of English songs, it enables English learners to understand the skills of singing so as to enhance their spoken English. We briefly analysis four aspects of the significance of singing English songs: necessity, speaking, writing, crosscultural learning awareness. We should change our mind to use new ways of learning and speaking English, rather than pay our attention to examination. English learners will get no where if they just learn English by passing examinations. After all, what the world need are those who can apply English through speaking. To improve spoken English by singing English songs is a short cut. It is not only easy to carry out, but also release endlessness happy. It applies to every society and all ages of men.
