【導讀】很多情況下等于beside和nearby。nearby除了用作介詞外，還可用作形容詞或副詞。between：表示在明確的兩者之間或多個物體的兩者之間。除了表示方位外，between還。infrontof：表示“在??的前面”。另外，與before比較，在表示場所時，常用infrontof，而很少用before；through：表示穿過某一立體的空間或兩邊有建筑物的街道等。表示“幾十幾”的數(shù)，十位和個位之間用“—”連接。101—999之間的數(shù)，百位和十位之間加“and”。表示“幾十”的數(shù)詞，其復數(shù)形式可以表示年齡或年代。
