The supervisory center and Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) of SCADA system need for data transfer and information exchange. CANbus is recognized to be one of the most developmental Field bus in the world and is being the leader Pattern. With the features of high reliability, low cost, easy realization, thorough transparency protocol, strong expansibility and flexibility of system setting up, it has occupied the leading position in the market and is widely used in auto motive electron industry control, and intellectualized munity and so on. CAN interface can be used to the CAN bus to receive/send data to monitor and control the CAN intelligent node. iCAN series of modules according with protocol norm possess CANbus munication interface. iCAN function module is used in the DCS / SCADA based on CAN bus, collecting the signal of industrial scene and sending it to the host or remote control equipment to achieve the function of sending and receiving data. Through the iCAN experimental teaching platform, the paper analyses the structure of the CANbus work of scene and the munication protocol. Then according to the requiring of the system design,the author constituted the munication protocol of CAN bus which is based on application layer─a standard frame format。 Basing on the iCAN experimental teaching platform, the paper analyses the data munication experiment that the data of single node to send and receive by itself and the two sides to send and receive, and achieved their munication functions。In order to make CAN system better used for the customers and the technical staff and enhance its availability, the author chooses digital and analog input and output module and sees the PC as the main node, and then empolders the control procedures based on VC++ which is better in humanputer interaction capability, more convenience to monitor and control the bottom equipments. In short, the iCAN Fieldbus work in this paper owns a fully functional control evaluat ion of scient if ic developm ent .
