The result shows that the COD removal rate of the wastewater is 90% when Fenton reagent is used with an initial pH of 9, a H2O2 mass concentration of g/L, a Fe2+ mass concentration of g/L and a reaction time of 20 min。 then using magnesium sulfate to treat the supernatant, the effluent COD can be decreased to mg/L, and the water colour being clear when the supernatant pH is controlled in the range of 11 to with a magnesium sulfate mass concentration of ~ g/L. The effluent quality can meet the second class criteria of Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB 8978—1996).Key words: fenton reagent。 magnesium sulfate。 yeast wastewater。 advanced treatmen
