【正文】 ifficult to obtain by tests or calculations due to the various structures and the field plexity， The relationship between the electromagic parameters and machine structures has been investigated using the electromagic field analysis. Then the results are illustrated with a set of curves and stored into the database, so the parameters can be directly loaded from the database for a specific motor structure. This method can not only reduce the program development cycle time, but also can design and analyze various machine structures. Thus the versatility of the program is increased. Furthermore, the method guarantees the precision of the parameters since they are calculated directly from the electromagic field method. The results of simulations and experiments show that the method can be used to quickly and accurately analyze and design PM machines. ?
