Brief Description of Project Scope.Vopak Shanghai Logistics Co., Ltd intends to realize a product logistics terminal at Shanghai Caojing Chemical Park. The terminal will be pleted with tanker, coaster barge berthing and loading facilities and will be used for storage and distribution of liquid chemical products for the local and export market. Each product will have the options of being transported in and out either by ship, coaster barge, truck, railcar or drums.The terminal will be built in phases over a period to be decided by market development. This description only covers the facilities as required for the initial phase. The terminal layouts as well as the location for berthing places are arranged in such a way that small adaptations can be made to satisfy alternative requirements and future extensions can be realized optimally at minimum cost.The offshore facilities are for receiving products from ocean vessels and are also for discharging product to smaller vessels and barges for distribution. The offshore facilities shall consist of two jetties which can berth a 5,000 DWT to 25,000 DWT vessels, two jetties which can berth a 1,000 DWT to 12,000 DWT vessel and two jetties which can berth a 1,000 DWT to 5,000 DWT vessels berthing simultaneously.The onshore facilities consist of product storage facilities, chemicals pumping facilities, drumming and warehousing facilities, truck and rail loading facilities for dedicated clients.The utility facilities shall consist of potable water system, plant air system, instrument air system, nitrogen system, fire fighting system, waste water treatment and slop system, and off gas treatment system for hazardous chemicals shall be provided for the onshore and offshore facilities. Air conditioning and ventilation shall be provided for the buildings. Refrigeration system shall be provided for refrigerated warehouses and controlled temperature warehouse.The terminal shall h
