I made a survey last week among 50 classmates about their views on our school’s decision to cancel the extracurricular classes on Saturday. The survey shows that 86% of my classmates agree to the decision while 12% don’t agree but 2% don’t voice their opinion. Those who agree to the decision think they can have more spare time to review the learned material during the weekdays and it can offer them more chances to learn independently, develop their interests and exercise to relax themselves. Those who disagree argue that they can learn better in class with the help of teachers and avoid wasting time playing puter games and watching too much TV. We can draw a conclusion that cancelling the extracurricular classes helps to lighten the burden on students and it’s good for their personal development.
