【正文】 ost PVC sheath of cables. Tests for FRLS:1. Flammability test: The cables shall pass the requirements of IEEE 383/1974 fire propagation test in this regard. Shall also pass class F3SS424175 Swedish Chimney Test. 2. Smoke generation by sheath under fire (density of smoke): When tested per UITPP test method or ASTMD2843/77,the cable shall meet the requirement of minimum 40% light transmittance (Max. 60% smoke density)3. Acid gas generation of sheath during fire: When tested as per IEC754I, the maximum acid gas should be less than 20 % by weight.4. Oxygen index test: The oxygen index when tested under ASTMD 2863 shall be minimum 29 at room temperature.5. Water immersion test: Water immersion test shall be carried out as per VDE 0815.6. Other tests:i) Fire resistance test to IS5831 for 20 minutes. Local control panels and power distribution boards shall be furnished as specified herein. The panel general arrangement and fabrication drawings shall be finalized and approved by the Owner during detailed engineering stage. All panels shall be furnished as per final Owner approved drawings releasing the panels for construction and meeting the requirements of this specification.b. The panels and equipment furnished shall fully conform to all applicable codes, Zambian and International Standards.c. All work related to manufacture and assembly of panels including panel fabrication painting, wiring, tubing, installation of all specified panel mounted accessories shall be pleted and the panels shall be fully tested prior to shipment to the project site. The manufacture and testing of panels as stated above shall be done in the manufacturing works of a qualified manufacturer acceptable to the Owner.d. All panels shall fully conform to design and construction requirements stipulated in this section.e. All necessary accessory items and electrical materials shall be installed in the control panels as required for pleteness of the panels by the Contractor. These will include but not be limited to the following:i) Terminal blocks with identification tags.ii) Wire, shielded single conductor and multi conductor cable.iii) Terminal lugs and wire markers at both ends of all wires.iv) Wire supports, wiring trays and conduits.v) Ining isolating switch fuse and distribution fuse boards. vi) Nameplates and mimic buses for instruments and devices mounted on the front of the control boardsvii) Piping, tubing, fittings and accessoriesviii) Supports for mounting of equipment in panels/ enclosures.ix) Panel hardware including vibration isolating devicesx) Grounding bus All spare contacts of control switches, push buttons, indication lamps shall be wired upto respective panel terminal blocks. Termination Cabinets/Marshalling Cabinets Termination cabinets shall be supplied for terminating all cables originating from the field and for distributing the signals to different functional panels and cubicles. The cabinet shall have internal illumination lighting fixtures. The plug socket shall be mounted on hinged plates to provide an access to the rear pins of the plugs. Ining cables from the field shall be terminated in suitable terminal blocks in logical sequence. Prefabricated cables with plug in connectors at both ends shall be used for extending the signals to the functional panels. Matching plug sockets shall be provided in the termination cabinets for terminating the plugs. Terminal blocks shall be located inside the cabinets on support wings fabricated of metal plates. General features of termination cabinets and accessories shall conform to the general design and construction specification of panels. Construction of Panels, Cubicles amp。 Enclosures All panels, cubicles, consoles and enclosures furnished as per this specification shall be of free standing type and shall be constructed of specified gauge of steel plates.
