ent, China has moved into an aging society. So how to cope with this issue and make all the elder people live a happy and healthy later life is the central issue for our government and the whole society. With the emergence of much elder population, our society must take some measures to meet the needs and requirements of the aged. Firstly, their healthcare is the main issue. For this part, I think we must build some elderoriented hospital and munity clinic, where elder caring is the priority and all the physicians will focus on how to treat mon diseases and take care of elder people. Furthermore, recreational activities should also be put into agenda. After their retirement, the elder also need to participate in the munity activities. In my opinion, our society should not only finance the munitybased hospital, but also contribute to setting up a variety of clubs, groups and elder universities to enrich the life of elder people. It was an early morning. I was in a hurry to go to school. When I was trying to get a ticket, I found a lot of people waiting in front of me, but nobody was in the line. Immoral behaviors in public initiate a series of problems. One of the most serious ones is that it may exert a negative impact on our sense of social responsibility. We will keep ignoring other people’s rights and feelings, and in turn, we too will be disrespected some day. The reform of this phenomenon is certainly not easy. With an eye on practical implementation and cost effectiveness , I propose that society make it clear in every way that people who fail to respect the mon rule will be seriously punished. Stricter policies for this should be made to correct this phenomenon as soon as possible. We all expect “A World without Thieves”. Everyone shares the huge responsibility of demonstrating his or her justice at the proper time. Personal responsibility is vital to build a harmonious socialist society. (選文來(lái)自 3. Should We Still Cherish Chinese Traditional Virtues Nowdays youth do things in their own ways , spend money on whatever they want and talk to people in their own languages——personality development is overstated by young people these days. To some of them, personality means to be totally different from who their parents used to be. But the problem is that during their pursuit of their personal goals they ignore some of the traditional virtues of which their forefathers were proud. Take the question of fidelity to elders for example. With better education and different experiences, some young people find it’s hard to agree with their parents any longer. They have a feeling of superiority and even sometimes turn their back on their elder parents. To me, personality development and traditional virtues have nothing to do with right or wrong. In our society, we need them both. These virtues help you to bee a better Chinese, while personality development will improve your own character. 4. Change of Entrance Exams for Graduate Schools. This graph is about the increase of the numbers of people taking part in the entrance exams for graduate schools. From it we can see that during the first five years, from 1997 to 2022, the change is gradual. In 1997 there were 500,000 people, while in 2022 there were 1,500,000, showing an increase of one million people. But during the second five years, from 2022 to 2022, the growth is sharp—— million, with 4 million people sitting the exams in 2022. The reasons for this change may be as follows. First, 1999 was the starting year of the college expansion plan, which obviously means that after four years, in 2022, more students graduated from universities and colleges. Secondly, because of the petition , to find a satisfactory job has bee more severe in recent years. So, to be equipped with a higher degree improves the chances of applicants finding a better job. Thirdly, not only new graduates feel the petition but also some people who already have a job. In order to get a promotion or to perform better in their jobs, lots of them returned to the battlefield to fight for better career prospects. 5. Celebrities as the products’ spokesmen Nowdays, it is very mon for celebrities, or the socalled superstars, to be spokesmen or representatives for a wide variety of products. Celebrities’ advertisements can be easily found on the Inter, televisions, newspapers, magazines and even on the walls of some buildings. There are, however, some problems for celebrities and the consumers. To begin with, before representing, a star may know nothing about the product. Thus, consumers may be misled. Even worse, for the sake of money, some stars advertise for items with low quality, even for fake modities. In the case of Sanlu, the public image of stars involved was spoiled. Last but not least, the high ine of advertising does not deserve their labor, which widens the gap between the poor and the rich. From my point of view, it is high time that measures were taken to eliminate the demerits. Firstly, laws should be worked out to regulate celebrities’ advertising. Secondly, stars should be required to tell the truth to the public. Only by doing so can stars be trusted by their fans and can consumers benefit. (范文選自
