The review of structure design method —— taking the design of reinforced concrete structure (member) for instance Czs (College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, Xiangtan University, Xiangtan 411105, China) Abstract: Plastoelasticity is widely applicated in the field of civil engineering. Using Plastoelasticity to analyze the structural interior stress distribution and deformation law is aim for providing theoretical basis for structure design, to meet the requirements of structural reliability. Structural reliability is a qualitative concept and it is to measure the probability of structural reliability. The probability limit condition design method in structural design clearly proposed the definition and calculation formula of structural reliability. And it use the methods of probability theory to solve the structural reliability. This article introduced the basic principles and methods of Plastoelasticity, structure reliability theory and probability limit condition design method. In addition, with the example of the normal section design of reinforced concrete flexural member, this article took the specific applications of probability limit condition design method in reinforced concrete members as the emphasis.
