The results show that the main ponents in volatile oil of Polygonum lapathifolium L include: Tetradecanal, Dodecanal, 1Dodecanol, Caryophyllene, Decanal, 1Decanol, 1,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8aoctahydro2,5,5,8atetramethyl1Naphthalene, methanol, 8bromoNeoisolongifolene, Z,Z,Z1,5,9,9tetramethyl1,4,7,Cycloundecatriene, Undecanal, Epiglobulol, Thujopsene. The aroma pounds mainly include: Tetradecanal, Dodecanal, 1Dodecanol, Caryophyllene, Decanal, 1Decanol , Undecanal, (Z)7,11dimethyl3methylene1,6,10Dodecatriene.
