Oracle Applications automate business operations with software solutions for mercial accounting, manufacturing, distribution, project control, government accounting and human resources management. FY97 Oracle Applications related revenues: $1,161 million representing 69% growth form FY96 Application business continues explosive growth. New licenses of Oracle Applications generated remarkable software license fees and service revenues. For FY97, Oracle Applications posted $1,161 million of bined software license fees and services revenues, up 69 percent over last year?s results. For FY97, Oracle Applications? software licenses totaled $478 million, an increase of 62 percent over the results posted in last year. In addition, Oracle Services generated $683 million of revenue for FY97, an increase of 75 percent over the last year. Oracle Systems Hong Kong Oracle Systems (HK) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oracle Corporation employing over 130 staff in Hong Kong. Oracle Systems (HK) was established in 1986. Currently it supports more than 800 customers with over 1800 installations. Oracle Hong Kong has a dedicated Applications Division that concentrates on the sale, implementation, support and maintenance of Oracle Applications. There are more than 20 people working in this division prised of telephone and onsite support consultants and business and technical consultants.
