所以雖然不能說(shuō)這樣的穿插沒(méi)有效果,但偏離了課堂教學(xué)本身的內(nèi)容,顯然是不值得提倡的。尤其是文字穿插,它的吸引程度比不上圖片和視頻,因此我們?cè)谑褂梦淖执┎鍟r(shí)就要注意以下幾個(gè)問(wèn)題??傊?,自編句子比背誦句子的效果要好,相信他們,讓他們盡情發(fā)揮,只有真正地參與課堂才能真正學(xué)到東西。文中舉了兩個(gè)例子“Brother”和“Summer”,由此我想到了中國(guó)的古詩(shī)“枯藤老樹(shù)昏鴉,小橋流水人家。結(jié)束課文時(shí),我鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生有機(jī)會(huì)參加voluntary work,豐富他們的人生閱歷,鍛煉他們各方面的能力,有所經(jīng)歷后再讀類(lèi)似的文章,他們會(huì)有更成熟更深刻的想法,這是最寶貴的。M7U4的課文“A Letter Home”以書(shū)信形式簡(jiǎn)述了志愿者教師Jo在巴布新幾內(nèi)亞(PNG)的一所鄉(xiāng)村學(xué)校助教的經(jīng)歷。然后我介紹了這句話(2)“A small attitude makes a big difference.”在My favorite subject一欄中,我和學(xué)生討論了喜歡某一學(xué)科的理由,然后得出結(jié)論:(3)“Interest is the best teacher.”自我介紹的最后一項(xiàng)是My motto(座右銘),我的座右銘是:(4)“God helps those who help themselves.”一起翻譯了這句話后,我希望他們也要努力做到,將來(lái)做一個(gè)自強(qiáng)自立的人。這方面的例子很多,筆者在一次助學(xué)活動(dòng)中作自我介紹時(shí)穿插了幾句箴言,給學(xué)生們留下了深刻的印象。在這副畫(huà)上,蒙克以極度夸張的筆法,描繪了一個(gè)變了形的尖叫的人物形象,把現(xiàn)代人內(nèi)心極端的孤獨(dú)和苦悶,以及那種在無(wú)垠宇宙面前的恐懼表現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致。我們英語(yǔ)教師在教授語(yǔ)法、語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)及講評(píng)習(xí)題時(shí)常常會(huì)舉很多例子幫助學(xué)生理解,筆者在實(shí)踐中嘗試著通過(guò)舉例說(shuō)明幫助學(xué)生理解文本內(nèi)容,收到了較好的效果。M3U5的第一篇課文“A Trip on ‘The True North’”是一篇短小的游記,題目中的“The True North”所指什么,在課文中沒(méi)有明確說(shuō)明。)一、 背景資料現(xiàn)在的教材內(nèi)容廣泛,信息豐富多彩,包羅萬(wàn)象,而處于成長(zhǎng)階段的學(xué)生頭腦中的背景信息有明顯的局限性。文字穿插作為對(duì)教學(xué)內(nèi)容的補(bǔ)充和延伸,給課堂注入了新鮮血液,創(chuàng)造了課堂的精彩瞬間。無(wú)疑,多媒體的廣泛使用為穿插藝術(shù)在英語(yǔ)課堂的有效運(yùn)用提供了更為便捷的實(shí)施途徑和更為廣闊的施展平臺(tái)。以此作為過(guò)渡,把學(xué)生的注意力拉到了林巧稚上,然后穿插了她的照片和簡(jiǎn)介:Lin Qiaozhi(1901~1983) was a doctor who specialized in obstetrics and gynecology(婦產(chǎn)科).
