ike running. They just could not believe that somebody wills all that running for particular reason.” It sounds like Forrest is laughing at those reporters. Yes, a lot of people think too much. We can see that his running dose have meaning in the film, and also, in his life, “My mama always said, you have got to put the past behind you before you can move on.” That is the key point of running. It is no doubt that his amazing running gift as a miracle affects his whole life. Besides, it is a reflection of his positive attitude towards life, especially, “running gives people hope for life”. After Jenny has left him, he begins to run across America and persists in doing it for a few years. At first I assume that it is a foolish way for him to do so, because he wastes too much time performing such an idle thing. But seeing the film for many times, I have waked up to that he is pursuing his meaning of his life. During his trip, he also has some acpaniers. Although these people have followed Forrest for a long time, they do not know the meaning of it. IV. Conclusion I think that Forrest has some virtues that maybe most of us don’t have. He is simple, kind, brave and cordial. I think this is the most important reason that leads him to great success. When we deal with something, we always consider if it is good for us, but Forrest never thinks of it. For example, he does not know why he joins the army. During the severe battle, he goes back to the battleground to save his friend in spite of great danger. And he does without think of the difficulty of it. Secondly, he is faithful. He has loved Jenny since he was young, and he never thinks of finding a better woman. To carry out the promise, he became a captain of a shrimp boat, and made a lot of money. Thirdly, he is optimistic in everything. We can see that Forrest is never sorrowful. I think we should have an optimistic philosophy. There must be lots of difficulties in every person’s life. Forrest can try his best to make his life perfect. So we also can try our best to make a colorful life. Just as that sentence says “Life is like a box of chocolates: You never know what you’re going to get”. The Feather, in my opinion, at the beginning and the end of the movie represents the destiny. The feather floats here and there。 Forrest has learnt how to run. That must be a miracle moment. To Forrest Jenny is very important. The deep love that Forrest holds for Jenny almost perates every adventure of Forrest’s. No matter where he is, what he is doing, he misses Jenny and hopes that whatever she is doing makes her happy. So he is exceedingly impulsive when Jenny is hurt by anybody. He is very fond of Jenny. Every time he fights against whomever he is, in order to protect his sweetheartJenny. He doesn’t think about what the consequence is. For example, in their college time, Jenny’s boyfriend send Jenny back, and Forrest misapprehend that Jenny is hurt by her boyfriend. So Forrest rushes to him, and beat him without any words. And after the war, Jenny and Forrest meet again, when Forrest sees Jenny is beaten by her another boyfriend, and Forrest also rushes to him, and beat him without say any words. I think that is the way that Forrest shows his love to Jenny. He wants to protect Jenny in any case. He does not care weather Jenny loves him, and he does not care what is Jenny’s rewards for him. He do not care all of this. The only thing he cares about is that Jenny is his girl, and he must protect her. That is the difference between him and us. Today our youngsters often want the rewards if they do something for others. If someone gives his or her love to another one, he or she will want the other one to give their love to him or her. Or they will do some extremely things. 2. Waiting for Jenny after Joining the Army Forrest is a pure image man. Forrest loves Jenny very much. And anything can make him think about Jenny. And Jenny is the only woman Forrest loved. Forrest loves Jenny from his childhood. But in Jenny’s mind Forrest is not the right man in her life. Jenny wants to be a singer, but it is not easy. So Jenny bee a degenerate symbol, even she takes drug at last. Forrest and Jenny are separated for three times, and it is Jenny who leaves Forrest. But Forrest is keeping on waiting for Jenny forever. Forrest keeps writing to Jenny all the time no matter what happens and how difficult it is. Even when he is in the Vietnam War, we can see Forrest keeps writing to Jenny almost every day, no matter how bad the weather is. His letter is not important, he just writes about what he does every day, and tells her he is very good. And he signs “Loved Forrest Gump”. We can see Forrest’s love is very pure. Once Jenny says “You do not know what love is.” One evening Forrest makes a proposal to Jenny, but Jenny refuses. Forrest says “I am not smart, but I know what love is.” 8 Yes, he does know what love is. This sentence looks antinomy, but just because those words are sincere, sounds more moving than Jenny’s “I love yo u” after she has experienced a lot of difficult things. Forrest teaches us that pure and true love can be promising and rewarding. 3. Being Married with Jenny Forrest’s love is adamantine. So at last he is married with Jenny. It is fortunate that Jenny brings up Forrest’s son. And at last he bees a pany and hope to Forrest. The film regards Forrest and Jenny as representative of our booming generation. They are all of us, Forrest is the simple naive side of us, and Jenny is the hard, sad, embittered side. Maybe they experience everything we will experience. So the film tells us wh
