The article describes the difference and bination of Chinese and western culture according to different figure characters, living ways, and individual fates in the movie The Joy Luck Club, and also profoundly expresses people’s inspiration and pondering upon the difference and bination. The fates of several female figures in the movie are the realistic manifestation of the difference and bination of Chinese and western cultures.
