【正文】 己心目中的英雄 。在介紹四個人物的時候也利用多種形式在激發(fā)學生興趣的同時也擴充了他們的課外知識，提高了他們的綜合能力。在歡快的氣氛中，引發(fā)學生思考什么樣的人才能稱之為“ amazing people”，從而自然地引出本堂課中四幅圖畫所描繪的四個“ amazing people”。進而讓學生總結(jié)出這些人物的共同點，引出“ amazing people”的定義?？谡Z教學不僅要做到語言的“輸入”，更要強調(diào)語言的“輸出”，要充分調(diào)動起學生對本單元話題的興趣，使學生“有話可說、有話會說”。教材由四幅圖畫和三個討論題組成。最后引導(dǎo)學生樹立“做一個對社會有貢獻的人”的理想，達到德育滲透的目的。 Step 2 Presentation 1. Play a part of Fate Symphony/ the fifth Symphony posed by Beethoven.（ PPT16：點擊喇叭先聽一小段《命運交響曲》，引出貝多芬） Qs: Have you ever heard of this music? (Yes.) Do you know in his middle age, something unfortunate happened? (Yes, he lost his hearing.)（ PPT17：談?wù)撠惗?芬的經(jīng)歷和成就） Did he give up his music? (No. Although he was deaf, he successfully finished the ninth symphony at last.) What do you think of him? (He was great/ successful, he had a strong will/ great determination, or he never gave up.) 2. ① Give a brief introduction of Mother Teresa and ask the students to read it together. (PPT1819：點擊鼠標，展示 Mother Teresa圖片，齊讀介紹文字 ) PPT: She is one of the greatest women in the world who made great contributions to the peace of the world. From the age of 18 she worked in India to help the poor. For more than 30 years she took care of people in need. She was awarded by the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. In 2021, she was given the name of Blessed Teresa. She was loved by people in India.
