【正文】 Module 5 The first Americans Grammar when ? 一、作為副詞，它有以下的用法： ? 1. 作為疑問副詞，引導(dǎo)特殊疑問句，意為“什么時(shí)候；何時(shí)”。 ? 如： （ 1 ） When will they e back？ ? （ 2 ） What time will they e back？ ? 回答 when 引導(dǎo)的從句，不一定指出具體的時(shí)間點(diǎn)。如回答句（ 1 ）可用 tomorrow， next month 等。而回答 what time 引導(dǎo)的問句，則必須說出具全的時(shí)間點(diǎn)，如 at two o39。clock， at five past ten 等 ? 2. 作連接副詞，引導(dǎo)名詞性從句或不定式，意為“什么時(shí)候”。從句使用陳述句語序，時(shí)態(tài)根據(jù)實(shí)際情況而定。 ? 如： （ 1 ） I39。d like to know when they will e. 我想知道他們什么時(shí)候來。（ when 引導(dǎo)賓語從句） ? （ 2 ） Can you tell me when the bank opens？ 你能告訴我銀行什么時(shí)候開門嗎？（ when 引導(dǎo)賓語從句） ? （ 3 ） When she39。ll be back depends much on the weather. 她何時(shí)回來在很大程度上取決于天氣。（ when 引導(dǎo)主語從句） ? （ 4 ） Have you decided when to go sightseeing？ 你們已經(jīng)決定什么時(shí)候去郊游了嗎？（ when 引導(dǎo)不定式結(jié)構(gòu)） ? 3. 作疑問代詞，常和介詞 since， till， up to 等連用，意為“什么時(shí)候”。 ? 如： （ 1 ） Since when have they had the house？ 他們從什么時(shí)候起有這幢房子的？ ? （ 2 ） Till when is the library open？ 圖書館開放到幾點(diǎn)呢？ ? 4. 作關(guān)系副詞，引導(dǎo)限制性定語從句和非限制性定語從句。 ? 如： （ 1 ） The days are gone forever when the Chinese people were looked down upon. 中國人民被人輕視的日子一去不復(fù)返了。 ? （ 2 ） The main school holidays are from midDecember till early February， when the days are long and warm. ? 學(xué)校的主要假期是從 12 月中旬到 2 月初，這段時(shí)間里白天長而且很溫暖。 ? （ 3 ） Considering （ the time） when these paintings were done， they are in excellent condition. 考慮到這些油畫的創(chuàng)作時(shí)期，它們保存的狀況是極好的。 ? （ 4 ） Do you remember （ the time） when the three of us went on a piic？ 你還記得我們?nèi)齻€(gè)人去野餐的那段時(shí)光嗎？ ? 在定語從句中， that 在某些條件下可用來代替 when ，這時(shí)其先
