In European vocal music development process, art song plays an important role to other countries of the rest word, including China. It’s impact is huge farreaching and a prehensive understanding correctly the nature of art songs, style and features, and thus promote the art of song in China creation, and make the art song diverse style, nationalization, more artistic and times. Zhao39。s Art Song creation is the harvest of Chinese art song initial stage, and it is the establishment of Chinese art song style. In the May Fourth New Cultural Movement influence, zhao is the first one to choice the poetry to do artistic creation. And his art song creation not only refers to the European art songs create techniques, but also have a clear national characteristic , and have high originality. He makes a contribution to the beginning of trying to bine the European professional music creation technique and Chinese traditional music, which makes a farreaching influence to the future of the art song creation. The study on Mr. Zhao Yuanren Art Song creation’s characteristic, and pare to the foreign art song’s characteristic are important to the contemporary vocal music by singing songs in Chinese art. This is the subject of this paper.
