Forestry Department of Hunan , Changsha,410007, PRC）Abstract: Biodiesel is a kind of new biomass renewable energy, and it is one kind of safe, clean, highly effective energy. This article summarized the domestic and foreign development status of biodiesel industry, pointed out that the shortage of stock resources, the small scale, the undertightened union between scientific research and industry, the insufficient support on policy and so on are the matters our country biodiesel industry faced for farther development. And the article also forecasted the prospect of our country biodiesel industry development.Keyword: Biodiesel。 Industry。 stock。生物柴油是清潔的可再生能源，它以植物油脂、工程微藻油脂、動(dòng)物油脂以及廢餐飲油等為原料制成的液體燃料，是優(yōu)質(zhì)的石油柴油代用品。生物柴油具有以下特性[1]：①與普通柴油相比生物柴油具有優(yōu)良的環(huán)保特性，使用生物柴油可降低90%的空氣毒性，降低94%的患癌率；由于生物柴油含氧量高，使其燃燒時(shí)排煙少，一氧化碳的排放與柴油相比減少約10%(有催化劑時(shí)為95%)；生物柴油的生物降解性高。②具有較好的低溫發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)啟動(dòng)性能，無添加劑冷濾點(diǎn)達(dá)20℃。③具有較好的潤滑性能，使噴油泵、發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)缸體和連桿的磨損率低，使用壽命長。④具有較好的安全性能，由于閃點(diǎn)高，生物柴油不屬于危險(xiǎn)品，在運(yùn)輸、儲(chǔ)存、使用方面的十分安全。⑤具有良好的燃料性能，十六烷值高，使其燃燒性好于柴油，燃燒殘留物呈微酸性，使催化劑和發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)機(jī)油的使用壽命加長。⑥具有可再生性能，作為可再生能源，與石油儲(chǔ)量不同，其通過農(nóng)業(yè)和生物科學(xué)家的
