【正文】 華中科技大學(xué)本科專業(yè)人才培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃翻譯專業(yè)本科培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃Undergraduate Program for Specialty in Translation 一、培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)Ⅰ．Educational Objectives本專業(yè)培養(yǎng)具有堅(jiān)實(shí)的英漢語言基礎(chǔ)、嫻熟的翻譯技能和扎實(shí)的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化、科技、外貿(mào)、金融、法律基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)，能夠勝任外事、商貿(mào)、文化、科技、新聞出版等部門一般性口筆譯工作的復(fù)合型翻譯人才。The fouryear BA program enables students to demonstrate proficiency both in English and Chinese and acquire translation skills. With basic knowledge of politics, economy, culture, science and technology, foreign trade, finance and law, students are expected to work as translator or interpreter in various fields including foreign affairs, merce and trade, culture, news media, science and technology.二、基本規(guī)格要求Ⅱ．Skills Profile學(xué)生應(yīng)具備良好的思想品德、文化素養(yǎng)、心理素質(zhì)與合作精神；具有開闊的視野、豐富的百科知識(shí)和扎實(shí)的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化、科技、外貿(mào)、金融、法律基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)；堅(jiān)實(shí)的語言基礎(chǔ)和較強(qiáng)的跨文化交際能力；掌握翻譯學(xué)科的基礎(chǔ)理論，具有較強(qiáng)的英漢語轉(zhuǎn)換能力。With cultural and moral strength students are expected to possess good mental quality and team spirit. They are called upon to have broad vision and encyclopedic knowledge and acquire basic knowledge of politics, economy, culture, science and technology, foreign trade, finance and law. They will demonstrate proficiency in the two working languages as well as crosscultural munication.
