【正文】 英文翻譯技巧 ? 翻譯并不是簡單地、機械地復制原文內各單獨要素的總和，而是一個復雜的、有意識的選擇表達原文各要素的各種手法的過程。 費道羅夫 直譯與意譯 ? 英、漢語的結構有相同的一面，漢譯時可照譯，即所謂“直譯” —— 既忠實原文內容，又符合原文的結構形式。 ? 但這兩種語言之間還有許多差別，如完整照譯，勢必出現(xiàn)“英化漢語”，這時就需要“意譯” 1．直譯 原文結構與漢語的結構是一致的，照譯即可。 如： 。 So long as I remain a bonze, I go on tolling the bell. ，老狼都是吃肉的。 All crows are equally black, all wolves eat meat. ，日久見人心。 A long road tests a horse39。s strength and a long task proves a man39。s heart. 只有在正確理解原文的基礎上，運用相應的翻譯方法以調整原文結構， 用規(guī)范的漢語加以表達，這才真正做到“意譯”。 村里的居民，全不在他眼睛里。 He looked down upon all the inhabitants of the village. 他惹了一肚子的氣，回來氣的一整夜也沒睡著。 Being absolutely enraged, he was much too angry to sleep that night. 其他翻譯技巧 ? 一、分清主從 (Subordination) 漢語句中各分句關系比較松散，所以在動筆前應認真分析句子要旨所在。 句中重點往往在后。英譯時，要突出重點或主句，其他部分可分別用介詞短語，非謂語動詞形式或各種從句表示。 沒有農業(yè)，人們就不能生存，社會生產就不能繼續(xù)下去。 Without agriculture, people cannot exist, neither can social production proceed. 他們一聽到“反霸”就火冒三丈 ,這充分暴露了他們那霸權主義的蠻橫嘴臉。 The fact that they fly into a rage at a mere mention of the expression“antihegemony”is enough to reveal their true colours as a domineering hegemonists. 二、 選詞用字 （ Diction） 在漢譯英時應特別注意選找與原文中在意義上和風味上盡可能都類似的詞語。 每個民族都有它的長處，不然它為什么能存在？為什么能發(fā)展？ Every nation has its own strong points.
