The traditional mechanical design and manufacturing method has not kept up with the pace of the time. CAD technology emerged as the times require and got a lot of development and application. ? The process of building the 2D model of the auto air pressor’s bent axle, connecting rod and piston is introduced detailedly. The auto air pressor simple assembly is showed lively. and the process of promoting finite element analysis of the auto air pressor simple assembly is represented in detail. On the CAD software platform, the 2D model of the auto air pressor’s bent axle, connecting rod and piston are built。 the auto air pressor simple assembly is easily acquired. It reduces the time of designing and developing the product。 decreases the cost of design the product. Otherwise, finite element analysis of the auto air pressor simple assembly is promoted on the CAD software platform, the simple assembly’s stress and strain distribution are acquired. It provides some basis for the optimization design of the auto air pressor, and reduces the cost of physical real machine test. It shows that the modern and advanced CAD technology and finite element analysis method play an important role in the mechanical design and manufacturing industry. And the CAD technology and finite element analysis method show vast development prospects.
