Introduction As is monly accepted, motivation is the key to success, and interest is the best teacher.( 1) What the teacher is to do in class is to provide conditions for learning to take place. I am now teaching junior grade one students. After one semester, I found that the classroom atmosphere was getting less and less active. A quite part of students idled in class. They were taking a less active role in classroom activities. A few students even dropped out.( 2) Based on some approaches that I have learned form “English Language Teaching Methodology”, and considering the characteristics of my students, I decided to adopt brief drawings in my lessons to motivate the learners, and help them keep up their English learning.( 3) 該部分一般應(yīng)包括三項(xiàng)內(nèi)容:與所研究問(wèn)題相關(guān)理論陳述,自己課堂上出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題,對(duì)研究的簡(jiǎn)單介紹。如,本篇研究題為通過(guò)簡(jiǎn)筆畫(huà)激發(fā)學(xué)生動(dòng)機(jī),所以引言部分以動(dòng)機(jī)理論入手。此乃“行動(dòng)研究報(bào)告”的一般開(kāi)篇方式。 ( 3) 簡(jiǎn)單介紹針對(duì)問(wèn)題自己所采取的措施,從而引出自己所做的研究。也沒(méi)有必要介紹什么是行動(dòng)研究,以及行動(dòng)研究的重要性。以往的學(xué)生報(bào)告中常有把教材中的兩種反思手段進(jìn)行詳細(xì)敘述的,其實(shí)沒(méi)有必要將自己反思的過(guò)程寫(xiě)出來(lái)。也可以把這作為起始研究,對(duì)調(diào)查的具體情況做一簡(jiǎn)單分析,其具體數(shù)據(jù)可做附錄展示。 訪談結(jié)果是描述性的,可以只做語(yǔ)言敘述,但問(wèn)卷調(diào)查可以做定量分析。 3. Possible Solutions Taking the above factors into consideration, the following solutions were proposed: a. Employing interesting brief drawings to help the students understand and learn new knowledge. b. Organizing interesting activities to motivate the students to memorize the words and review the texts. c. Creating the fortable safe classroom atmosphere and a good teacherstudent relationship. 本部分所采取的措施必須與前面所敘述的問(wèn)題相符合,措施敘述要具體。 所列舉各措施表達(dá)方式要一致。 4. Project Objective This project is aimed to motivate the students in English learning through the brief drawings. 研究的目的一般采用不定式表達(dá),可以采用 be aimed to do something, be aimed at (doing) something, the purpose of 等。 8 5. Project Hypotheses Considering the age factors of the students, brief drawings can help students understand teaching materials quickly and easily and thus motivate the students to learn English happily. 假說(shuō)中應(yīng)交代清楚自變量 和它變量,以及兩者之間的關(guān)系,就行動(dòng)研究而言,一般采用“采用什么方式可以達(dá)到什么目的”。假說(shuō)中不能列舉如何去做,否則就成了解決方式,往屆學(xué)生中常有把假說(shuō)與解決措施相混淆的同學(xué)。 ( 1) 由于研究的目的是激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī),所以理論部分從“動(dòng)機(jī)”的定義入手比較合適。 ( 3) 運(yùn)用以往的研究論證動(dòng)機(jī)的必要性。 ( 5) 再次用以往研究論證圖象在記憶中的作用。 9 psychological development of teenagers. Provide a ?stressfree? and ?learnercentered? environment. 視研究的課題,本部分可有可無(wú)。 10 Techniques for Data Collection During this research two techniques were adopted, namely questionnaire and test.( 1) To gather information for the design of the research and to test whether the research is effective, two questionnaires will be issued, one at the beginning of the research and the other at the end.( 2) Two tests will be included (one as the pretest, the other as the post test for parison) to test the coefficiency between motivation and school recording.( 3) 該部分應(yīng)該介紹清楚研究中收集數(shù)據(jù)以及分析數(shù)據(jù)將要采用的手段,并介紹各手段將如何使用。 ( 2) 介紹兩次問(wèn)卷調(diào)查的執(zhí)行時(shí)間和目的。實(shí)驗(yàn)前后兩次測(cè)試作為對(duì)比,有利于分析實(shí)驗(yàn)的效果。 8.
