I had to use all of my bottle sun cream, as the sun shines very brightly here. After a rest, we went to a circus that was visiting town. It was all very colourful and exciting. This is a great holiday! Feb 17: Today we went for a drive in the hotel minibus. We saw some beautiful scenery, and after looking round the park at Xincun, we took a ferry to Monkey Island. Luckily, we didn’t see many moneys (I’m afraid of them), but Sally did feed peanuts to a few. Then we took a cable car back to the minibus. Another lovely day！ Feb 18: We did a lot of shopping today. There are so many people I want to give little presents to. Ling went crazy and bought so much we had to help her carry it! We also went to Tianya Corner. We cannot go home without a photo of us all at “the End of the Earth”, just like on the bank note. It is a very interesting place—Sally said she wanted to get married there one day.
