【正文】 詞性從句或不定式，意為“什么時候”。如回答句（ 1 ）可用 tomorrow， next month 等。Module 5 The first Americans Grammar when ? 一、作為副詞，它有以下的用法： ? 1. 作為疑問副詞，引導特殊疑問句，意為“什么時候；何時”。 ? 如： （ 1 ） When will they e back？ ? （ 2 ） What time will they e back？ ? 回答 when 引導的從句，不一定指出具體的時間點。而回答 what time 引導的問句，則必須說出具全的時間點，如 at two o39。從句使用陳述句語序，時態(tài)根據(jù)實際情況而定。d like to know when they will e. 我想知道他們什么時候來。ll be back depends much on the weather. 她何時回來在很大程度上取決于天氣。 ? 如： （ 1 ） Since when have they had the house？ 他們從什么時候起有這幢房子的？ ? （ 2 ） Till when is the library open？ 圖書館開放到幾點呢？ ? 4. 作關系副詞，引導限制性定語從句和非限制性定語從句。 ? （ 2 ） The main school holidays are from midDecember till early February， when the days are long and warm. ? 學校的主要假期是從 12 月中旬到 2 月初，這段時間里白天長而且很溫暖。 ? （ 4 ） Do you remember （ the time） when the three of us went on a piic？ 你還記得我們?nèi)齻€人去野餐的那段時光嗎？ ? 在定語從句中， that 在某些條件下可用來代替 when ，這時其先行詞通常是 time， day， moment， year 等。 ? （ 2 ） I stay at home on the days that I am not busy. 在我不忙的時候，我就呆在家里。如： the moment， the instant， the minute， the second 等等，意為“一 …… 就 ……” ，引導時間狀語從句。 ? （ 2 ） I thought her nice and honest the first time I met her. 我第一次見到她時就認為她很誠實。 ? 二、作為從屬連詞，引導狀語從句，表示多種語法意義： ? 1. 表示時間，意為“當 …… 時；在 …… 的時候”。 ? 如： （ 1 ） When you see him， please say hello to him. 見到他時，代我問他好。 ? B. 表示過去發(fā)生的事情，在 when 引導的時間狀語從句的主從復合句中，動作發(fā)生在先的用過去完成時，在后的用過去時。 ? （ 2 ） When I reached the station， the train had left. 當我到達火車站時，火車已經(jīng)開走了。它總是對所描述的事件予以引人注目的強調(diào)，
