Whether that is good or bad, we can?t really say, but for the two of us, going green is not a fad but a lifestyle. On April 22, 2021, we decided to go green every single day for an entire year. This meant doing 365 different green things, and it also meant challenging ourselves to go green beyond the easy things. Rather than recycle and reduce our energy, we had to think of 365 different green things to do and this was no easy task. With the idea of going green every single day for a year, Our Green Year started. My wife and I decided to educate people about how they could go green in their lives and hoped we could show people all the green things that could be done to help the environment. We wanted to push the message that every little bit helps. Over the course of Our Green Year, we pletely changed our lifestyles. We now shop at anic (有機(jī)的 ) stores. D Would it surprise you to learn that, like animals, trees municate with each other and pass on their wealth to the next generation? UBC Professor Simard explains how trees are much more plex than most of us ever imagined. Although Charles Darwin thought that trees are peting for survival of the fittest, Simard shows just how wrong he was. In fact, the opposite is true: trees survive through their cooperation and support, passing around necessary nutrition “depending on who needs it”. Nitrogen (氮 ) and carbon are shared through miles of underground fungi (真菌 ) works, making sure that all trees in the forest ecological system give and receive just the right amount to keep them all healthy.
