METHODS：Adopting DDD analysis，the utilization of digestive system essential drugs in our hospital from 2007 to 2009 were analyzed amount of drugs ,consumption sum 、DDDs and DDC. RESULTS：The consumption sum of digestive system drugs in our hospital increased year after year ,but the consumption sum of digestive system essential drugs showed a downward trend. Essential drugs decreased slowly in ：The utilization of digestive system drugs in our hospital were basically rational .But essential drugs were further improved ,and the application and management of these drugs were up to standard.KEY WORDS Digestive system essential drugs；DDDs；Analysis of drugs us
