【正文】 學號：090907122City traffic management and urban planningAbstract :At present ,the urban transportation problems are being one of the biggest problems that the development of Chinese cities are facing .Traffic planning should struck to keep the unity of the transportation and the city to face problems .This is a big challenge to urban planning ,especially the old method of landuse planning .In order to relieve traffic jam and other issues ,we should strength the construction of road and should reform the thinking and method of solve problems of the various functional departments of the government .And that’s the key of how to solve the current urban transport problems .Key words :urban transportation traffic management urban planning coordination Our urban road construction has made big achievements in recent 20 years .But in many city ,such as Beijing 、Shanghai 、Guangzhou and so on ,the traffic problems never appear before .So the urban transport problems are given great attention when the cities do the new round of urban planning in recent years .Ministry of Public Security and provincial City Transit Authority has proposed macro policies that all levels in the country part of the city urban construction departments and public security traffic management department jointly carry out the smooth traffic project . Traditional urban planning ,especially prehensive planning used to ensure the style of urban development through posite institute .And use that to arrange urban varies land and dispose the urban basic facilities .The urban traffic system planning is only one of that basic facilities project planning .1. Urban And Transport Development Traffic39。s role In Urban DevelopmentCity’s development and traffic development is closely related .Any city in different times will produce the appropriate transport .Only when transport facilities Fig 1can meet the requirements do the activities can active in cities .And the functions of the city can bring into full play .And the city can have a greater development . Urban Development And Urban TransportIt is not too far for urban transport to have such a big turnover rate .In 1760, Watt invented the steam engine .(Figure 1) In 1829 ,Stevens used it to invent the train .So the European countries have long formed the modern cities and the urban traffic .Railway traffic in 19 century is only the transport method between the cities ,but not daily urban traffic . The Current Situation Of Urban Traffic Management Planning Traffic System Of Western CitiesDevelopment of urban transportation system in Western countries has undergone two stages, namely, construction phase: after the second world war to the 1970s 。s urban transportation history is equal with the development of 6070 39。s urban road traffic flow project , many of the city39。s overall level of urban traffic management still have a certain gap with the requests of the transportation movement .In 2000 , in 138 cities that are checked by unimpeded team nationally ,there are 42 cities that urban traffic management planning only achieve the 5 of 11 requests , 20 cities meet only 4 requests .Thus, the urban traffic management planning in our country far behind the development of modern road traffic requirements.
