Twodimensional numerical simulation which develops rapidly is mainly based on twodimensional shallow water equations, and numerical methods include finite difference method, finite volume method and finite element method and so on. Twodimensional model and a twodimensional bination of a twodimensional model is also be applied to engineering practice. As assumptions of the shallow water equations made to simplify some of its applications are limited.
