Page 3 3G2G互操作 GSM系統(tǒng)和 WCDMA系統(tǒng)之間的小區(qū)重選、切換以及 GSM系統(tǒng)和其他 3G系統(tǒng)間的交互統(tǒng)稱為 2G/3G系統(tǒng)間互操作。 定義 ? 2G/3G系統(tǒng)間互操作主要是指當 MS位于 WCDMA網(wǎng)絡覆蓋的盲區(qū)或 WCDMA小區(qū)效果較差時， MS可以切換或重選至 GSM系統(tǒng)，以保證 MS的正常通信，或需要進行數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務時， MS切換或重選至 WCDMA系統(tǒng)。 目的 ? 第三代移動通信系統(tǒng)在建網(wǎng)初期存在覆蓋不全、 WCDMA網(wǎng)絡有待優(yōu)化等問題，因此在較長時間里， WCDMA網(wǎng)絡無法完全取代現(xiàn)有的 GSM網(wǎng)絡。 2G/3G系統(tǒng)間互操作目的主要體現(xiàn)在以下兩方面： ? 覆蓋擴展 在 WCDMA網(wǎng)絡邊緣，通過接入到 GSM網(wǎng)絡，實現(xiàn)無線網(wǎng)絡的覆蓋和延伸。 HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD. SI2quater中包含關于小區(qū)重選、測量和報告的信息。 SI2quater的發(fā)送時間和方法與其他 SI2（ SI SI2bis、SI2ter）相同。 3GPP SI2ter中的定義比 GSM 3G小區(qū)的頻點信息相關小區(qū)重選參數(shù)，所以需要修改 SI2ter的填寫方式。 ? 修改后，按照 3GPP ， SI2ter的“ Rest Octets”IE長度不變，但內(nèi)容修改為關于 3G小區(qū)重選的相關信息。在配置 3G外部鄰區(qū)時將鄰區(qū) 3G頻點信息加入。 ? 如果“ FDD小區(qū) BA1 表”配有數(shù)據(jù)，則設置“是否發(fā)送 2QUATER標志”為“是”。 ? 如果“測量報告類型”設置為“增強型測量報告”， SI3才會攜帶 SI2quater消息指示。 BSC向 MS發(fā)送 SI3時，“是否填寫 3G早期類標發(fā)送限制”用于通知 MS其發(fā)送的早期類標消息中是否包含 3G類標信息。 HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD.
