神奇而又真實,迷離而又實在,不是藝術(shù)創(chuàng)造勝似藝術(shù)創(chuàng)造,令人嘆為觀止。? Mountain Lao is “the second jungle on earth for Taoism”. The present Taiqing Palace, Shangqing Palace, Mingxia Cave, Taiping Palace and Hualou Palace have all been holy places for important Taoist activities and homage land. Mountain Lao is “the second Buddhist monastery on earth for Taoism”. The present Taiqing Taoist Temple, Shangqing Taoist Temple, Mingxia Cave, Taiping Taoist Temple and Hualou Taoist Temple have all been holy places for important Taoist activities and homage land. Generally speaking, “叢林”can be translated into “jungle” which means “area of land, usually in a tropical country, but in Chinese, “叢林” has another meaning, which is “Buddhist monastery”.(和尚聚居修行的處所,后泛指大寺院)It can also be used in Taoism, meaning “Taoist temple”. What’s more, despite that “宮” in Chinese corresponds to “palace” in English, here “太清宮”and“上清宮”,etc actually refer to neither palacestyle layout nor for palace use. They are simply Taoist temples.
