The notice will be put up next week. 6. put up with忍受；容忍 。如 : Housewives often have a lot to put up with. 熱點語法聚焦 ◆●■ 動詞 ing形式和 todo 形式作賓語 動詞 ing形式和 to do 形式可以在句中作不同的成份 ,本期我們主要學習它們作賓語的情況。 1. 動詞 ing 形式既可以作動詞的賓語 ,也可以作介詞的賓語。 ① 只能接動詞 ing 形式作賓語的動詞包括 appreciate, consider, enjoy, finish, imagine, keep, mind, miss, permit, practice, risk, suggest 等。如 : I can’t imagine working with that guy. The workers suggested putting the meeting off. ② 常見的以介詞結(jié)尾 ,并以 ing 形式作其賓語的固定詞組有 be fond of, be good at, be / get used to, feel like, insist on, look forward to, stick to, think of 等。如 : Although I’m not good at drawing, it’s one of my hobbies. He insisted on doing the experiment again and again until it succeeded. 2. 有些動詞只能接動詞 to do 形式作賓語 ,這些動詞包括 agree, arrange, decide, demand, fail, manage, offer, plan, promise, refuse 等。如 : The boss arranged to meet him at the hotel. Stella offered to help Roy, but he refused. 3. 有些動詞既可接動詞 ing 也可接動詞 to do 形式作賓語 ,這些動詞包括 attempt, begin, continue, intend, start 等。如 : She started to cry / crying.
