【正文】 erce Agency of Economic Ministry since 1996. After several times parison and analysis with ‘Card Sorting’ in KJ method on the expressional forms of billboard design, it can be inducted as a data base to understand state of the art in this field. And there are five research findings as below: (1) Signboard’s genres: there’re mainly two kinds as ‘fa231。adeattached type’ or ‘sidehanged type’ in buildings. (2) Signboard’s setting position: fa231。adeattached type was monly set between the beam and balcony, sidehanged type was generally set at the surface of building margin. (3) Signboard’s shapes and collocation: there’s only one rectangle shape in fa231。adeattached type and 28 collocations in sidehanged type. (4) Information of signboard’s content: it can separate into lexical or graphic systems.
