The data of system are taken from EMS. After getting data from EMS, state estimation will be carried out periodically. The ground state of power flow is from the results of state estimation. The hardware configuration of system is introduced. A data receiving server is configured to receive model, graphic and data in auxiliary line loss management system in Hebei grid. It can integrate province dispatching center39。s model and six area dispatching centers39。 model to integral model in this server. And the integral model can be imported into PSASP system. The data receiving server can offer data storage for line loss management system. Seven servers are configured for saving the data of province and six area dispatching centers. A workstation is configured for power system condition monitoring. And it can carry out relevant analysis and calculation of power system workstation can log in any calculating server and view the calculation results of line loss. The auxiliary line loss management system in Hebei grid contains six subsystems. The subsystem of line loss calculation and subsystem of integral calculation and historical data storage for line loss is background calculation module. The other four subsystems offer interface for users to create, maintain and use the line loss analysis system. The modeling of power system planning subsystem provides the user interface to establish and maintain the power system planning model. The line loss query and analysis tool provides line loss modeling and maintenance functions. And it provides line loss query and analysis functions also. INTRODUCTION At present the statistic transmission loss is based on electric parameter acquisition system in most areas. Sometimes the accuracy of electric parameter acquisition system is not high. It is an urgent need to develop auxiliary line loss management system in Hebei Grid. On the one hand, it can check the accuracy of statistic line loss results of electric parameter acquisition system. On the other hand, it can make a decision support for reduction line loss. The auxiliary line loss management system in Hebei Grid can be used to evaluate the line loss management level of grid at present. It can evaluate reducing line loss benefits of project which has been put into operation. And it can evaluate reducing line loss benefits of power system panning project also. It can provide the investment decisionmaking function for power system planning. II. THE STRUCTURE OF THE SYSTEM The auxiliary line loss management system is online line loss monitoring and analyzing system based on realtime analysis of power system. It can analyze power system panning. The data are taken from EMS. The realtime state estimation is carried out periodically after obtaining realtime data. Taking state estimation results as the ground state power flow, the theoretical line loss analysis and auxiliary decision173。making support can be carried out within the selected devices such as lines and transformers. It can calculate the theoretical reducing line loss rate. The auxiliary line loss management system in Hebei grid contains six subsystems. The chart of system is as shown in Fig. I. A. Modeling of power system planning subsystem It can depose and splice power grid model of province dispatching centre and six area dispatching centres. It can splice the power grid model of province dispatching centre and six area dispatching centres to a whole model of power grid. It has function of establishing and maintaining the power system planning model. It can calculate power flow of power system planning and can check power system planning. The new devices (transformer, line, bus, load, generator, etc.) can be added on user interface based on two data sources (current data and historical data section). The desired power system can be built. Then the power flow can be calculated. A variety of operations can be simulated on the desired power system. The operations include power regulating of generators, transmission lines breaking , power regulating of load, transformer tap adjusting, etc. And the accurate results of power flow distribution in system are given after disturbing. The safety analysis of expected accident can be analyzed. B. Subsystem of line loss statistics and modeling It has function of establishing and maintaining line loss statistics and analysis model. It can provide humanmachine interface for user to define range of line loss statistics areas and to define line loss calculation model. These models are stored in mercial database.
