In this thesis, we discuss how to conserve, rebuild and restore culture relics and sites digitally, through the integration of puter science and conventional cultureprotection technology. Now, we have developed Dunhuang Cave Virtual Navigation System, Faded Mural Restoration and Evolvement Simulation System through taking advantage of the Virtual Reality, Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence technology.
