【正文】 ing分詞和 ed分詞。因此，限定動詞與非限定動詞之間最重要的區(qū)別在于前者有 “ 時 ” （ Tense）標(biāo)記，而后者沒有 “ 時 ” 的標(biāo)記。舉例列表如下： 原形 現(xiàn)在時 過去時 不定式 ing分詞 ed分詞 walk pass eat speak teach grow walk(s) pass(es) wat(s) speak(s) teach(es) grow(s) walked passed ate spoke taught grew (to) walk (to) pass (to) eat (to) speak (to) teach (to) grow walking passing eating speaking teaching growing walked passed eaten spoken taught grown 英語的基本助動詞和情態(tài)助動詞除個別外并非都具有以上 6種形式。列表如下： 原形 現(xiàn)在時 過去時 不定式 ing分詞 ed分詞 be have do is / are has / have does / do can may will shall must need dare out to ———— was / were had did could might would should ———— ———— ———— ———— used to (to) be (to) have ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— being having ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— been ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— ———— （ 6）規(guī)則動詞和不規(guī)則動詞 大多數(shù)動詞的過去時和 ed分詞都是在原形之后加詞尾 ed構(gòu)成（如 intend / intended /intended， study / studied / studied，stop / stopped / stopped），這類動詞叫做 規(guī)則動詞 （ Regular Verb）。有一些動詞不以加詞尾 ed的方式構(gòu)成過去時和 ed分詞（如 cut / cut / cut， build / built / built， begin / began / begun），這類動詞叫 不規(guī)則動詞 （ Irregular Verb）。 現(xiàn)代英語的絕大多數(shù)動詞是規(guī)則動詞，新近增添的動詞一般也都是規(guī)則動詞?，F(xiàn)有的不規(guī)則動詞總數(shù)不過二百多個。這些不規(guī)則動詞分為三種類型： 第一類不規(guī)則動詞的特點是他們的三個主要形式（即原形、過去時、 ed分詞）同形。例如： cast cast cast hit hit hit put put put set set set spread spread spread 第二類不規(guī)則動詞的特點是它們的過去時與 ed分詞同形。例如： bend bent bent creep crept crept deal dealt dealt flee fled fled mean meant meant 第三類不規(guī)則動詞的特點是它們的三個主要形式都不相同。例如： arise arose arisen break broke broken ring rang rung steal stole stolen throw threw thrown ，不過是在裝模作樣。（ put on） 1. He was not feeling sad, he was just putting on. 2. 最后一分鐘突然冒出了一些新問題。（ crop up） 2. Some new problems cropped up at the last minute. 3. 別上當(dāng)受騙。（ take in） 3. Don’t be taken in. 4. 我很生氣，他竟說出那種粗話。（ e out with） I got very angry that he should e out with that rude remark. 5. 這是一輛舊車，已經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)手好幾次了。（ change hands） This is a used car。 it had been changed hands several times.
