【文章內容簡介】 She must be at least thirtyfive years old. 1)句中的must表猜測，是對she當前的年齡的猜測，所以直接使用了must be的形式。 2)at least，至少。相反的表達為：at most?！ n spite of this, she often appears on the stage as a young girl. 1)in spite of，盡管，是個介詞短語，后面不能接句子。 2)appear on the stage，在舞臺上表演。 3)as，表示作為、擔任?！ ennifer will have to take part in a new play soon. 1)will have to，表示她將不得不。 2)take part in，參加。 This time, she will be a girl of seventeen. 1)this time后面用逗號隔開，起到強調作用，凸顯這次她要扮演的角色。 2)a girl of seventeen，十七歲的女孩。類似的表達有：a boy of seven?！ n the play, she must appear in a bright red dress and long black stockings. 1)in+衣服，表示穿著...衣服。 2)bright red，鮮紅色?！ ast year in another play, she had to wear short socks and a bright, orangecoloured dress. 1)注意wear(穿著，強調狀態(tài))與put on(穿上，強調動作)的區(qū)別。 2)orangecoloured，橙色的。也可以直接用orange來表示。 If anyone ever asks her how old she is, she always answers, ‘Darling, it must be terrible to be grown up!’ 1)if anyone ever asks her how old she is，注意句中的how old she is的
