My advice — live with someone you don39。t know. That39。s what I did, and it made life a lot easier knowing that if we got into an argument, it wouldn39。t affect our friendship, since we had none ing into this. So do not feel as if you are all alone and sit there, go out and meet the people on your floor. After all they are the ones who will barge in your room without knocking, spend countless hours talking with you and trust you by the end of the year, they will be the ones who know you better than anyone else. I have talked numerous times to all my friends and we have all e to the conclusion that the whole first week would have been a lot better if we knew we were not the only ones feeling homesick and lonely. One of the best things about college is making your own decisions, which, of course, includes all of the social activities that go along with college life.
