First reading (group work and discussion) (7m’) The students will be given 7 minutes to skim for: 1) the main idea of the whole passage (4m’) 2) the main idea of each paragraph (3m’) Aim: To enable students to get a general idea and the anization of the passage. 2. Second reading (individual work and chart filling) (5m’) Students will be divided into 4 groups to finish 4 different tasks. This time more detailed information is called for. After the reading, there will be different tasks for different groups.
