Discuss, What can you see in the picture? What are they doing? Would you like to do if you want to be volunteers? Would you like to help others? (T looks around the class room.) (Ss discuss and stand up to answer the questions.) T : Now, class, listen to the tape and plete the sentences. (on the screen) (Ss answer the questions.) T: Good. You are great! Next, practice the conversation in the pitures above. Then have similar conversations using the information in activity 1b. (Ss say aloud.) (Let severel groups of Ss say.) T: A group of Ss are planning a City Parks Clean –Up Day. They are talking about ways to tell people about the CleanUp Day . Listen and fill in the blanks. (T has a check .) T: Now, class. Let’s practice playing in activity 2b. ( T asks several groups of Ss to act it out. ) T: Next , let’s go on listening to the tape. Then number the picture (14) in the correct order. Cheer up : He looks sad. Let’s cheer him up . Set up: We’re going to set up a food bank to help hungry people . Come up with : We need to e up with some ideas. ( Have a student answer it. ) T: Great!
