American believed their country would stretch from sea (Atlantic) to sea (Pacific). Many immigrants put all their belongings in a wagon and moved to the Wild West. They faced a lot of dangers and hardship, such as wild animals, Indian attacks, criminals and outlaws, etc. The pioneer spirit is a very important factor in American culture. Now I am going to play a slideshow and let’s have a brief look at the Westward Expansion. （2）視頻結(jié)束后，與學(xué)生互動(dòng)，自然過渡到講故事環(huán)節(jié)：Was it easy or difficult for the immigrants to move west?
