The Moldflow software was used for the simulation analysis and optimization of the gate position for the plastic part. By optimizing the process parameters, the defects of the injection molding were successfully avoided. Based on the simulation result, the structure designing and the material selection of its injection mold had been finished. The injection mold with two cavities adopted the hidden gate system and side corepulling CAE optimizing with mold design could shorten the mold developing cycle, reduce the product development cost and enhance the product quality. The mold was convenient to operate , with proper structure and high efficiency.
