【正文】 with relation to modern and popular music and literature and the ways in which these are important to society. The course will then focus on music and society for the first half, and literature and society for the second half. Music and Society The music and society half of the course will include topics and themes such as music and social identity, music and the individual and will investigate the influences of modern and popular music on societies around the world. Literature and Society The literature and society half of the course will analyze English language texts with a starting focus on American author Mark Twain. Students will be taught basic English Language and Literature methods that include creative writing, English conversational skills and improved reading and analysis ability. 評價方案 Assessments Process 40%: Students will be primarily accessed on their involvement and engagement with the course including their participation in class activities and discussions, their learning motivation, homework and the overall presentation of the work they produce and submit as well as the learning they demonstrate throughout the course.
