But there is no suggestion that death itself is a triumph: on the contrary it is life that asserts itself, continues, and blossoms again.By describing the tragic love of Catherine, Emily Bronte gives us some inspirations: for women in a patriarchal society and in the 19th century capitalist society, the key to winning real love and happy marriage is independent personality, freedom and equality.
