Offices of CIA The CIA has an executive office and several agencywide functions, and four major directorates： 1， The Directorate of Intelligence, responsible for allsource intelligence research and analysis, 2， The National Clandestine Service, formerly the Directorate of Operations, which does clandestine intelligence collection and covert action 3， The Directorate of Support, 4， The Directorate of Science and Technology of Intelligenc (DI) of Intelligence (DI), where inplete and sometimes contradictory information is transformed into unique insights that inform US policy decisions. Members of the DI help provide timely, accurate, and objective allsource intelligence analysis on the full range of national security and foreign policy issues to the President, Cabi, and senior policymakers in the US government. The DI also is the largest contributor to the President’s Daily Brief (PDB) . 2. The National Clandestine Service (NCS) National Clandestine Service (NCS) serves as the clandestine arm of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the national authority for the coordination, deconfliction, and evaluation of clandestine operations across the Intelligence Community of the United States. Directorate of Support (DS) Directorate of Support (DS) provides everything the CIA needs to acplish its critical mission of defending our nation.
