It consist of the plant scale choosing and ensuring main system, the calculation and ensuring of the main equipment, and also including some new technology.The importance of the design is conforming the main system of the plant, including the system molten iron provided, the providing system of laxity, the providing system of ferroalloy, pretreatment of molten iron, the cleaning system ,the treatment system of slag and so on.Compared with other schemes, these methods are quite adaptable to this design and they are advanced technologies in the world. The followings are mainly included in the design: the calculation of the converter, the calculation of oxygenlance, the calculation and selection of fluegas cleaning system, the calculation of the workshop equipment and the arrangement of each span. What’s more, the design has adopted a lot of new technologies such as:slagsplash to protect the stove, molten iron predesulphurizing based on magnesium and so on.
